Located in Shelbyville, KY, Long Ridge Farm is one of Kentucky's up-and-coming registered Simmental cattle farms. Our grass-finished beef is rich in antioxidants and free of hormones.

At Long Ridge Farm, we are partnering with Natural Resource Conservation Service to renovate our pastures and hayfields to reduce the amount of fertilizer and herbicides needed for maintanence, as well as protecting our ponds and streams from contamination and reserve forested areas for wildlife. 

Sustainable management practices such a low density rotational grazing allows to retain nutrients and thus higher quality forage.  This practice also ensures that our livestock can graze in a clean environment which produces a healthier herd.
